At the young age of 6, Corwyn helped his father, a former Chase Bank Executive, pick out a necktie for work each day. In 2001, nearly 30 years later, Corwyn started his own neckwear line called Corwyn Apparel which attracted the attention of Kwame Jackson; Season One Finalist of Donald Trump's The Apprentice. In 2006; Cincinnati's "Tie Guy"; Corwyn Thomas formed a partnership with Kwame Jackson, both former Procter and Gamble employees, to create and design a luxury lifestyle neckwear brand called Krimson By Kwame. The line boasts of 100% imported silks in bold and rich textures with hand-finished detailing, and “eye popping" color pallets. Some celebrity clients include Grammy award winner Ne-Yo, Bishop TD Jakes, NBA Champions Alonzo Mourning and Dwayne Wade of the Miami Heat, New York City Mayors Michael Bloomberg and Rudi Giuliani, 3-Time Boxing Champion Evander Holyfield, Andre Gurode of the Dallas Cowboys, and Roland Martin of CNN. His "Krimson by Kwame" line was the only brand selected by Oprah Winfrey as the “Father’s Day Favorite” on her famous “O” List.
