Surprising findings: 33% of women (15% of men) claimed that they would not go on a date with someone who did not recycle; 93% of total respondents claim they would be willing to pay more for an environmentally friendly product; 49% of total respondents claim that they would be willing to take a pay cut to work for a more green/ environmentally conscious organization. I hear strawberries in California are magnificent this time of year - but not if the state approves the use of methyl iodide on strawberries and other food crops! Sign the petition asking the EPA to reverse its previous decision and prohibit the agricultural use of methyl iodide.

California is about to approve the use of methyl iodide -- a potent neurotoxin and carcinogen -- for use on strawberries and other food crops. The best way to stop it is to ask the U.S. EPA to restrict its use at the federal level. Sign the petition today.

The Green Workplace: Tastes Great, Less... Glass?

Over the holidays my husband and I received lots of great wine. I normally focus my attention on the label around the body of the glass, but a gold label around the cork of a nice bottle of California cabernet (Three Wishes) caught my attention.
