Clain Your Cash On MissingMoney.com

A quick search on this free secure website, endorsed by the nonprofit National Association of Unclaimed Property Administrators, could turn up forgotten assets from old bank accounts, insurance policies, stock and bond returns, safe-deposit-box contents, and more. To learn if you have loot out there, simply enter your name and state of residency.(Quick tip: Conduct separate searches using your maiden name and in every state that you have lived.) Dinah Mouat of Solon, Ohio, found almost $500 of her own money in an old savings account and $1,500 of her husband's. "It was like discovering buried treasure," she says.
