Monthly dose useful tidbits, timely trivia & conversation starts
6 Beer cocktails that even non-beer drinkers will love.(All recipes serve 2)
Beer Shandy-divide one 12oz bottle lager & 1/2 cup sparkling lemon soda between 2 glasses. Garnish with lemon slices.
Stout & Ice Cream Float-divide one 12oz bottle stout between 2 glasses. To each, add 1/2 cup coffee ice cream.
Gingery Apple Beer-divide one 12oz bottle lager, 1/2 cup apple cider, 1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger between 2 glasses filled w/ice.
Cherry Stout Fizz-divide one 12oz bottle stout & 1/2 cup cherry cola between 2 glasses filled w/ice.
Beer Bloody Mary-divide one 12oz lottle lager & 1 cup tomato juice between 2 glasses filled w/ice. To each add 1/2 tablespoon prepared horseradish, 1/2 tablespoon fresh lime juice, 1/4 teaspoon worcestershire sauce, 1/4 teaspoon tabasco, & a pinch each of celery salt & black pepper.

Eco-friendly ecowear/gear/jewelry
I have partnered with a fantastic eco-friendly company from Canada: www.eco-gear.ca and when you view there site; find a t-shirt or some jewelry or something very 'eco' to your liking, when you want to 'check-out' add the 1 word 'greendrinks' in the discount space and you get a 10% discount off your order.
I know I will get challenged as to 'why support a Canadian' product, my answer is simply this: There is Nothing else like it in the market. True, there are brands that use recycled fibers, but then they start adding toxic prints to it, plastic buttons and other bling. We at Eco-gear make a cool product using the least we can and the consumers love it. The truly eco-conscious ones that is! :)
