How long does it take to go green?

Everyday we need to think both long-term & short-term, individually & together. We make hundreds of choices re: green; whether to turn off a light, stop a dripping faucet, eat fresh or frozen food. This year, I think, will be a turning point for the planet. There have never been so many people as aware of there impact & of dwindling natural resources. Add to that an economic shakeup that has people and corporations all over the globe thinking about what they're spending and why, and the ingredients for change all fall into place.
